Rules for battle: Bring your hardware, computer, phone, etc. from which to play your boom bap beats which should be 1 minute in length each. If there are more than 16 contestants or a number of contestants not divisible by four, we will do first round, round-robin style with judges picking the top 16 or 8, then bracketing in single-elimination tournament/head to head style. Final round is two beats, although we advise contestants to anticiapte possible third round and always bring extra beats in case of tie (bring at least 7-9 beats in case of ties and overtime). $10 entry fee gets you into battle and venue. Audience is 5th judge in the case of tie amongst judges and judges will factor in audience response, so bring all your friends and homeys, but ONLY POSITIVE VIBES and no whining, dissing judges if you lose.
